I have to get up at five. And I can't sleep. Wheeee....took a dose of Nyquil. Hopefully will kick in soon. Ooo, brain getting fuzzy. That's a good sign.
Went school clothes shopping today. Yay! Very happy. ^__^ I dress very professionally, compared to everyone else at school. O_o My step-dad said, "Why don't you wear jeans and a t-shirt like everyone else?"
Because I don't look good in them. >_> No. I stick with my uber cool slacks and dress shirts and sweaters. Which are made out of the best fabrics ever. They feel so good...@_@ And ankle boots! Yay!
I need to clean my room. x_X It is a pit.
School starts Monday. Am very excited. I get to see my friends again! Been so lonely. ;-;
Decided that I am going to major in English and Buisness in college. Going to Dmacc for the first two years. Bleah. Don't want to go to Dmacc, but my parents are making me. Evil. ~_~
I like tea. Yes. Especially in my Elvish Mug. Mmm, going to have to have tea in the morning. Mmm, caffeine.
Chatting with Ari. Very happy.

Okay. I won't lie. My family's been a little down on money the past week, because my step-father's paycheck hasn't come in yet. Basically, we have no money. None.
All I have for both lunch and breakfast tommorow is a salad about the size of my fist.
Now, I wouldn't been bitchy about this (for I understand, and am not mad at my parents because of some guy's screw up) if two things had not happened today:
1) My mom came in to McDonald's while I was working and bought a chocolate shake, which is about two dollars.
2) There is a brand new pack of makeup in the bathroom, along with a box of Drixoral. Probably about eleven bucks together. Now, the Drixoral I can understand; my mom gets bad migranes. But the makeup...Makeup. A pack of bloody makeup. probably about five bucks. Plenty to buy a loaf of bread so I can make myself a pj and jelly sandwich tommorow, because I have both the pj and jelly, just nothing to put it on.
I've been living off whatever I can scrounge out of the fridge for the past two days, and am at the very last of my reserves, and my mother is buying herself makeup.
I am PISSED. |

So, my peaceful morning (ie. Sitting out on the porch, drinking my tea, and basically daydreaming, which has worked before) was completely ruined. Mental note: Always do mornings with everyone else asleep, even if that means you're up by five.
There I was; I had my tea, everything was going well, and the nasty stray cat that roams around our house decided it wanted to be petted.
Filth in all.
I brought my dog out to try and keep the stray away (he's very good with cats, but the stray is scared of him) and they only got into (a mostly one sided fight, cat winning.)
Then, my Step-dad decided to sit on the porch with me. Which means he decided to try and talk to me. Let me tell you, peaceful mornings and conversations do not mix. It was very hard not to growl at him and tell him to be quiet.
On top of this, Mom pops out a lot, talking non-stop, and the stray is still there.
Mornings with people are no good.
But I got to the bathroom before all of them. Nyah!
I think I might just go to bed. I was going to drink my tea, then write, but the mood's been completely spoiled.

My great-grandma died the last month of school.
Jazmyn died a month after.
Now, my grandfather is in a coma, and he's not going to wake up.
So why don't I feel anything? I sobbed my heart out at the last two; and I don't even remember Jazmyn that well. Now...well...there's nothing. No real desire to care or cry, and that scares me.
Am I turning heartless? I've never been one to grieve long; even with the others, the next day I was alright. But...not even shedding a tear...
Makes me feel horrible.
And all the same, my mind wanders. |

Wow, I haven't posted in awhile. Probably because you know, I somehow got myself into thinking that I needed a reason to post. Hah!
Today my Puss In Boots book should come. *presses face to window to watch for the postman* Here kitty kitty kitty...
I saw the 2003 Peter Pan movie the other day...and now I'm on a total Petter Pan kick. I forgot how much I loved the story (save the ending, which is crap!); I'm even reading the book now. I've found I'm such a Peter/Wendy shipper. *sigh* She should have stayed with him!!! (or vise versa) I'm such a goob.
Playing Myst III some more...got through one of the first big puzzles and it gives me another one the size of an island. *sigh* It's fun though!
Damn I'm sleepy.
...I may be writing a story that envolves a vampire in drag. XD Yay!

I'm going to update HP and the New Alliance as soon as FF.net gets back on its feet. The first part isn't betaed, but oh well.
Mmmm...I'm quickly on the road to becoming a Puss in Boots addict. I forgot how much I loved that story! I have three versions currently: one by the Fairy Tale Treasury (c)1999, one by Charles Perrault and Andrea DaRif, published 2001, (c) 1979, and my favorite, an adorable one by Susan Saunders and Elizabeth Miles, (c) 1989 (my birth year!). I also ordered a beautiful one by Lincoln Kirstein and Alain Vaes, but it won't be here until next week. *pout*
What? It's a hobby.
Urg. Work was hell yesterday. I work with a girl that apparently doesn't know the meaning of 'common courtesy.' I could maim her. I need to find a different job...I hate McDonalds. Maybe the coffee shop is hiring.
Hey, I still have $36 dollars to spend off my last paycheck. (I get to blow it all, since it's the first one. Yay!) I should go spend it.

I got up, and went to work. Twenty minutes in, they sent me home because they were overstaffed. YAY!
Then, we finally got to see Shrek two. Omg. I wanted to just turn around and watch it again. I would have paid full price to. I love the movie! I want it! Now! It also has a wonderful soundtrack.

OMG! Puss in boots! That's the closest I have ever come to having a crush on an animated cat. (Apparently, he's not the only animated cat to have fangirls. Apparently the older Simba has quite a following.) Antonio Banderas...Mmmmm...he stole the show. He had the best lines. 'Hey boss, let's shave him.'
And the eyes! The eyes were so adorable! It was so bad that the entire theatre, adults and all, went 'awwww!' every time he did it. And his little booties! I wanna keep him. (If I ever meet a man with an accent like that, I'm a goner. He could be a serial killer, and I wouldn't notice.)
I also liked Kyle. Heeeheee.
Donkey was also great! 'Look at my mutant babies! ....I need a job!'
This was better than the first one.
Omg...Puss!! ajlejowjewlwejwlejLOVE! (It doesn't help that Puss in Boots is my favorite fairy tale story, as he was the only one with brains. Come on, none of the princesses did squat, and Jack the Giant Killer, from Jack and the Beanstalk, was a homocidal theif!)

*yawn* I am so sleepy. Lazed around all day, excluding fight with Grandmother, but did start to get writing in order. Perhaps I'll spit out a novel someday.
We went to Ohano's [sp?] (a cool Japanese restaurant) for Luther's birthday. It was really nice, with good food. I love Japanese clear soup. They do a show/cook the food at the table, and we got the owner, Cy, who was the best. He was really good. Since I was the only one who had not been there, he tried the 'tricks' on me; he once through a knife (plastic) past my head. I think he was rather disappointed, for I did little more than blink. I'm too used to things flying around me to really care unless I realize it's going to hit me. I swear, it can be a beanie baby flying at me and I'll whap it with as much strength as I would something dangerous. It's all the SCA, you know. I think Nikki was the only one at the table that might of reacted differently that I did.
They brought out this cool blue velvet hat with fuzzy purple and blue trim on it for Luther to wear. They even got a picture of it! It was great.
We then went and watched the fireworks show. I think someone realized it was going to rain soon near the middle of the fireworks and just said 'light them all.' It was really cool, because there were about twenty fireworks in the air at any one time.
Now, there is something that's been bugging me, and I tried to have a conversation about it with Edward, but the others didn't want to revel in our geekness (poopey heads). I really think that dragons, being reptiles, would be more likely to have bird wings then bat wings, since birds evolved out of reptiles and bats are mammals. Edward apparently has an argument to counter-act that, but it will have to wait.
Really, it would make more sense.
